Varun Tej's Fidaa Movie Review and Rating

Fidaa is totally a rom-com film. Varun Tej(Varun) who is pursuing a medicine course in USA comes to India for his brother's marriage and he mets Sai Pallavi(Bhanumathi).During the time, they start liking each other. However, as plans to express her love to him, they have a misundestanding which causes trouble between the couple.

Varun tries a lot to clear things out between them but she refues to talk to him. After the marriage ceremony, Varun returns to USA but is unable to forget her. When her sister gets pregnant and needs a supporter, her father sends Bhanumathi to USA. The story of Varun and Bhanumathi begins again.

Analysis:

After long gap, we have got a chance to see a great love story. The script is strong and some scenes in the movie reflect our day-to-day lives. Shekar Kammula's Fidaa is so natural and heart warming.

The first half of the shoot was happened in Telangana and second half in USA. Shekar Kammula has been writing female characters very strong since Anand. After Happy Days, he lost his magic but with Fidaa, looks like he is back once again.

The flow of the story keeps the audience complete engaged without any boring scene and it never misses the right beat.The actors acting on screen has come out so well and it seems realistic. When the actor deivers the diagloues we didnt feel they are mouthing they just came out very real.

Varun is like any other today’s youngster, Bhanumathi is the strong-willed girl. To be honest, Fidaa was too lenghthy and second part was not that much impressive because they didn't handle few scenes properly. Climax is little worse as it seems hurried and is important part for the film but the makers didnt excute it well.

Verdict: Varun Tej's Fidaa is just lovely and a must watch film. It is kind of regular story but they have showed one important message to audience. Sai Pallavi steals the shows in her debut film. Over all it is awesome and go watch.
