Meanwhile, the senior hero Mega Star Chiranjeevi was honoured with the prestigious Raghupathi Venkayya Award for the year 2016. The actor has opened up about the same and revealed his happiness over receiving the award.
"I'm happy to be the chosen one for the prestigious Raghupathi Venkayya Award 2016. I thank the Andhra Pradesh government and the jury for establishing and honouring talents in the memory of such a legendary person. I also would like to extend my best wishes to all the winners of Nandi Awards for the years 2014,15&16. " revealed Chiranjeevi in a press statement.
