Even though his last film ‘Krishnarjuna Yuddham’ tanked at the box office, reigning star Nani stills holds his fort in the big league and has reportedly revised his pay to Rs 8 crore, ahead of some mega heroes like Varun Tej, Sai Dharam Tej and Sharwanand, while getting closer to Ravi Teja, who has been drawing Rs 10 crore-plus. “Undeniably, Nani is the flavour of the season with stupendous hits and has expanded his market from Rs 10 crore to Rs 30 crore and is bound to revise his remuneration going by his rising popularity among the youth, female fans and the masses as well.

He proved his stardom by even pulling off a film like ‘MCA’ with his charisma, although the film lacked a good plot unlike his previous releases like ‘Ninnu Kori’ or ‘Nenu Local’, says distributor Vishnumurthy, who claims that Nani will gradually touch the Rs 10 crore mark, sooner than later.

“After gaining a strong foothold, he is also doing his maiden multi-starrer with Nagarjuna and has a good bunch of films in the pipeline. If he keeps picking up youthful entertainers with novel plot which will exploit Nani’s flair for comedy and cash in on his boy-next-door image, he will scale new heights,” adds Vishnumurthy, who feels that Nani’s small screen debut will also help him get closer to family viewers in the days to come.
