First birthday as an actor Shivani

Shivani Rajasekhar participated in Haritha Haram and played with Devanar School kids on her birthday on July 1. The daughter of star couple Dr Rajasekhar and Jeevitha, is making her debut with '2 States', celebrated her birthday by indulging in social work. "I was happy to participate in the Haritha Haram programme.

Because it is our duty and responsibility to save Mother Earth by planting saplings as much as possible," the young actor said. Shivani, along with her father Rajasekhar and mother Jeevitha, went to Medchal ring road and planted saplings. She also spent quality time with kids of Devanar School for the Blind. She cut a cake and played with the visually-challenged inmates. She freely mingled with the children and termed her birthday as unforgettable.

"I was really happy to spend time with the inmates. In fact, I am going to celebrate my birthday every year in the same fashion amidst these kids whose intelligence is unmatched. They are really special, unlike the rest of us," Shivani concluded.
