After making her presence felt and count in “Tiger Zinda Hai” and “Padmaavat”, actress Anupriya says she is still looking for different and experimental scripts.
The powerful of talent Anupriya Goenka was interacting with media for her forthcoming web-series “The Final Call” here in Mumbai.
Anupriya Goenka rose to fame with her powerful roles in Salman Khan starring Tiger Zinda Hai and Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial Padmaavat.
Talking about life-changing post two massive successful films, Anupriya said, “I am thankful to both the movies, Tiger Zinda Hai and Padmaavat, they put on the platform and because of both the movies people know of me. Both the films were commercial and entertaining but high on craft…both are great memories and top of it, they have given me a lot of mileage”
“After both the films, a lot of work is coming my way and I am still looking for a script which is more experimental and different from one another. I am hoping to get work where I get to explore myself as I am also learning along the way”
The ZEE5 original series “The Final Call’ also stars Arjun Rampal, Javed Jaffrey, Neeraj Kabi, Sakshi Tanwar, Pradeep Rawat, among others. It will start streaming on February 22.
After movies the actress is exploring a different medium and sharing her take on both the medium, Anu said, “Craft remains the same, whether you are acting in a film or web-series or television or short films, it is almost same but the only difference I find between the film or web-series, is that you can explore a character for more because you have more space, time and you can craft the character really well…We can be more experimental in web-series, whereas there are restraints in the films”
Talking about the forthcoming thriller series, Anu added, “Our web-series is very balanced. There are five-six main characters and you will get to know each character properly. You will know their journey, thinking and their transformation in these couple of hours. So one could bite more into the character, which is far more entertaining for the audience and wholesome as well”
