AP crime snippets: April 05, 2014. Early on Saturday, the customs officials at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport of Shamshabad in Hyderabad have seized 1kg gold from two women who arrived from Dubai in Air Arabia Flight.
Hyderabad: Early on Saturday, the customs officials at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport of Shamshabad in Hyderabad have seized 1kg gold from two women who arrived from Dubai in Air Arabia Flight. The women have been identified as Ishehi Peryal and Obed Almasermi. The duo has been detained by the customs officials and have been interrogating them.
The police have carried out a raid at Javvarpet of Machilipatnam in Krishna district on Saturday. During these raids they have seized 254 crates liquor bottles from a storage room.
Visakhapatnam: On Saturday morning, the police have seized 600kg ganja at Marrivalasa of Chodavaram mandal in Visakhapatnam district. The ganja has been illegally transported from unidentified agencies. The police have seized a lorry, involved in illegal transportation of the ganja from Visakha agency area. The lorry driver has also been detained for interrogation. More details are awaited.
Guntur: Near Repalle in Guntur district, early on Saturday a bus hit a motorcycle. In this incident, the driver of the bus lost his life. Going into the details...While the school bus of Sri Chaitanya School was taking a turn, it hit a motorcycle.
The fuming bike rider and pillion rider attacked the driver. After sustaining severe injuries, the driver lost his life. The accused have been absconding since then. The police have been searching for the accused. More details are awaited.
