​Techie use minors for robberies

Hyderabad: The Amberpet police have held a software engineer for allegedly involving the children for the stealing in the trains. Subash, the accused is a software engineer by profession. He has been addicted to a lavish life and has been residing at Golnaka in Hyderabad. He has allegedly involved the children in the robberies in the trains. He used to visit a cyber cafe at No. 6 Junction and used to allure the kids who visit the cyber cafe for playing the video games. He used to take them to hotels and get them rich food like Biryanai and ice creams. Later, he used to take them for a travel in the trains and involve these children in the larceny of various costly items like mobile phones and laptops which are kept on charging. Later, he used to sell them at a reduced price and enjoy a lavish life with the money thus earned. He targeted Narayanadri, Rajkot, Yashwanthpura trains, mainly for his mugging.

In the same milieu, the accused has taken a 13 old kid, a resident of Maruthi Nagar in Hyderabad. When the kid went missing, his parents filed a case with the police. When the police registered a case and investigated, they learnt the actual fact. The police have arrested the accused and the owner of the cyber cafe for allegedly supporting the accused. They have been interrogating. More details are awaited.
