Hyderabad: Just for the sake of silver ornaments, a woman was killed brutally and taken away the 700gm silver on her body. This incident took place at Venkatayapalli of Devarakadra mandal in Mahabubnagar district. Polamma (40), the victim, slept in front of their home, after taking dinner, as usual.
In the midnight on Thursday, the malefactors not only slivered her throat, but also chopped her legs up to the knee level and took the silver ornaments. J Chennaiah, the Mahabubngar OSD, has visited the spot of the incident and assured that the criminals would be traced out very soon.
