Karthik Gowda, son of Railway Minister D.V. Sadananda Gowda appeared before the civil court to submit his reports and completed his medical tests in connection with a rape case filed against him.
A session’s court in Bangalore granted anticipatory bail to Karthik Gowda on Monday in a rape and cheating case filed against him by Kannada actress Maithreyi.
However, Karthik has been asked to appear before police on the 15th and 30th of every month and produce Rs. 2 lakh personal bond with sureties of like amount from two guarantors.
The judge also directed Karthik to submit his passport to the court till the examination is completed.
On the engagement day of Karthik Gowda, the actress filed a case against the minister's son on Aug 27 in Madikeri of Kodagu District.
