3 killed, 5 hurt as RTC bus rams auto
Three persons were killed while five others were severely injured when an RTC bus collided head-on with an auto-rickshaw in which they were travelling near Ibrahimpally in Chevella mandal on Monday. The deceased were identified as Burhan Saab, 63, his wife Saleema Begum, 55 and his sister Chotibi, 40 all residents of Kishanbagh.
Hyderabad: Three persons were killed while five others were severely injured when an RTC bus collided head-on with an auto-rickshaw in which they were travelling near Ibrahimpally in Chevella mandal on Monday. The deceased were identified as Burhan Saab, 63, his wife Saleema Begum, 55 and his sister Chotibi, 40 all residents of Kishanbagh.
Md Hussain, Ibrahim, Moiz, Shahin Begum and Najma who sustained severe injuries were immediately shifted to government hospital and reported to be undergoing treatment. Police sources say that the family members were on their way to Hyderabad after attending a marriage party at Chengamal. As they reached Ibrahimpally gate, an RTC bus coming from Hyderabad slammed the auto-rickshaw head-on. “The driver of the bus lost control while trying to avoid hitting another vehicle and collided with the auto-rickshaw,” the cops said.
