Techie Held For Cheating Woman On Pretext of Marriage

A 25 year-old software employee was arrested and sent to remand for cheating a woman with promise of marriage under KPHB police station limits.

According to police, Upender, resident of Kompally and native of Vijayanagaram, working for TMC, was in relationship with a 22-year-old woman, a civil engineer from Vijayanagaram.

She was residing at her aunt’s place in Nizampet and maintained affair for over an year. However, Upender showed no interest despite the woman’s insistence for marriage.

“Both were in a live-in relationship and the woman had to abort pregnancy once,” said Sub-Inspector Janaiah A case was registered under 313, 417 and 420 of IPC and police began probe.
