Kin of suicide victim stage dharna
A person by name Praveen Chary committed suicide by consuming poison on Monday night at Penimella village in Uppununthala mandal in the district. Family members of Praveen Chary alleged that he took the extreme step as he was manhandled by Surender Reddy of the same village.
Mahabubnagar: A person by name Praveen Chary committed suicide by consuming poison on Monday night at Penimella village in Uppununthala mandal in the district. Family members of Praveen Chary alleged that he took the extreme step as he was manhandled by Surender Reddy of the same village.
According to family members, Surender Reddy gave contract to Praveen Chary for making wooden doors. They said that Chary asked Surender Reddy to take away completed doors after paying cash as agreed. “But, Reddy beat Chary and forcibly took away doors along with him,” they alleged. Family members and relatives staged a dharna on the main road in Achampet and demanded that the police should arrest Surender Reddy immediately for driving Chary to commit suicide.
