Love turns fatal as youngster attacks girl he loved; gets killed

On Friday, a youngster was stabbed to death after attacking the girl he loved and two other of her family members in Prashant Nagar, Kukatpally.

Identified as Raju, came to the house of Padmavati, the girl he loved and with an argument commencing, he attacked the girl and her family with a sickle. The girl's father, Vallabh Rao intervened, snatched the sickle from Raju and stabbed him to death.

Vallabh Rao informed the police that Raju who worked with his daughter in a furniture showroom had been harassing her daughter in the name of love for the past one year. The family had already rejected his proposal to marry her but even that did not stop him from troubling her.

The condition of the girl is said to be critical while the others injured are said to be recuperating.
