Cyberabad Commissioner of Police C V Anand issued the orders to detain Sadath under the provisions of the Preventive Detention Act for ‘indulging in criminal activities, like extortion, cheating, intentionally provoking breach of peace and threatening the public.’ Nine criminal cases were booked against Sadath in Jeedimetla and Dundigal police station limits under Cyberabad commissonerate.
