13 year old slips into coma after beaten by teacher

A 13-year-old boy, Chintu from Godavaparru village in Krishna district was beaten brutally by his tuition teacher Sudhakar Rao resulting in the boy slipping into coma. The boy was punished for failing to solve a problem in Maths.

While Chintu was admitted to a hospital in Vijayawada, he was shifted to another hospital in Hyderabad after his health condition deteriorated.

Chintu is the only son of Ramayya and Durgamma who informed that Sudhakar Rao had promised to bear all medical expenses but backed off later. The parents are now seeking government's support for their son's treatment.
