In a shocking incident, a butcher stabbed the owner of a hotel over a fight for chicken biryani at Andhrahalli in Rajagopal Nagar on Wednesday night.
According to reports, Sultan Pasha had come to the hotel and ordered for biryani at around 9.30 pm. But the hotel owner Soundhar told him that there were no dishes and it was closing time. Sultan was in an inebriated condition when the incident happened.
Angered by this, the customer started abusing and picked up a fight with the owner.He took a knife from the kitchen and stabbed Sundar on his back.
Sundar was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital and his condition is stated to be critical. The police reached the spot and took Sultan into their custody.
