The police have detained the accused woman in Nalgonda after tracking the mobile phone number of the complainant, which was also stolen by the accused woman during abduction of the girl.

On November 6, Rani from Chebrolu village in West Godavari of Andhra Pradesh lodged a complaint with the GRP at Secunderabad stating that her five-year-old daughter was abducted by an unknown woman, when she went to buy a ticket to leave to her town.

The North Zone police of Hyderabad investigated the case basing on the CC amera footage and the mobile phone signal. “The accused has also stolen the mobile phone of the complaint while abducting Durga.
