A minor girl was allegedly raped by a drunk neighbor of Nandavaram village in Payakaraopeta mandal of Visakhapatnam district on Tuesday. A class II student was going to a convenience store nearby when the accused Kona Ramanna took the girl to an isolated house in an inebriated state.
The tragedy occurred near the girl's house. Some passersby who heard the girl's screams rescued the minor girl. Later, the family members of the girl lodged a complaint with the police. The police sent the girl for medical examination and arrested the accused.
