Suicide bid kills three in Hyderabad

A couple and their toddler lost their lives following a suicide bid at Rajendranagar on Friday night. The woman identified as A Saritha set herself ablaze in the house when her husband, A Krishna Goud tried to extinguish the fire, his body also was caught in the flames.
A couple and their toddler lost their lives following a suicide bid at Rajendranagar on Friday night. The woman identified as A Saritha set herself ablaze in the house when her husband, A Krishna Goud tried to extinguish the fire, his body also was caught in the flames.
Amidst the chaos, the couple's 18- month-old son, Saikumar was also burnt alive. Police suspect that Saritha had been having fights with her husband which led to depression and to suicide. The incident occurred in Laxmiguda at around 11.30 PM when Saritha poured kerosene over her body and lit herself.
Even though the neighbours put off the blaze and rushed them to the hospital but all the three succumbed to death.
