Auto driver found dead

The body of a 28-year-old auto driver was found on a pavement in Chilakalguda on Thursday. During early hours of the day, the passersby noticed a body lying in the pool of blood on a pavement at Abhinav Nagar Community Hall in Chilakalguda and informed the police. Hyderabad: The body of a 28-year-old auto driver was found on a pavement in Chilakalguda on Thursday. During early hours of the day, the passersby noticed a body lying in the pool of blood on a pavement at Abhinav Nagar Community Hall in Chilakalguda and informed the police. The Chilakalguda police who rushed to the spot found that the man was murdered. The police are suspecting old rivalry to be the reason behind the murder.
The preliminary investigation by the police revealed that the deceased, Mohammed Shafi was a resident of Mohammedguda in Warasiguda and was married to a woman from Musheerabad in 2002. Reportedly, the marriage was unsuccessful as Shafi was a drunkard and used to have altercations with wife almost every day. Since 2005, the couple has been living separately.
The body was sent to Gandhi Hospital mortuary for autopsy. During the autopsy, stab injuries were identified on Shafi’s chest and back. He also had a head injury. A case has been registered following a complaint by the brother of deceased, who had also identified his brother’s body.
