Dantewada: At least seven Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans were killed after Maoists attacked their convoy in insurgency-hit Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh. According to initial reports, the Maoists blew up a CRPF vehicle and killed 7 jawans. The deceased jawans were part of the 230 battalion. An armourred vehicle was blown up by the attackers resulting in the death of the CRPF jawans, said Dantewada SP K Kashyap confirming the attack.
