Two arrested for misbehaving with woman
Two men were arrested on Sunday for harassing a woman in the company’s cab. A woman employee of a MNC company was allegedly harassed by the security supervisor and cab driver on Friday night.
Hyderabad: Two men were arrested on Sunday for harassing a woman in the company’s cab. A woman employee of a MNC company was allegedly harassed by the security supervisor and cab driver on Friday night.
Based on the complaint, a case was registered at Alwal police station. During the investigation, the accused was identified as Induri Venugopal and the cab driver as Chakali Srikanth.
As per the complaint with the police, after attending the job at 1.30 am, she boarded the company cab but was alone. As she was alone in the cab, the security supervisor said that he would accompany her and sat in the rear seat next to her.
On the way to her home, he tried to start a conversation and started misbehaving. She asked the cab driver to stop the car, but he did not respond as he was hand in glove with the supervisor.
The woman screamed at the supervisor and pushed him aside when he tried to touch her. She was dropped at home later.
She registered a case with the police and the SHE Team immediately arrested both the accused. During interrogation, the accused confessed that they misbehaved with the woman and the duo was produced in the court.
