Hyderabad: Press Meet was organised on Saturday at Pallavi International School (PIS), Gandipet to celebrate the return of Indian Air Force (IAF) pilot Abhinandan Varthaman on Indian soil captured by Pakistan after his plane crashed on the other side of LoC while on a mission.

The Press Meet was addressed by Dr T Sudha Director Academics – Pallavi Group of Schools, Dr Harrsha celebrity artist, Srikanth Director Operations, Robin Michael – PRO & Praveen, Vice President. During the press meet Dr Harrsha released a painting of wing commander Abhinandan.

To celebrate the return of Wing Commander Abhinanadan, a special painting workshop was also organised for the first batch of students wherein 44 children from Pallavi Group of schools – Bowenpally, Alwal, Bodduppal, Gandipet, Saroornagar & Tivoli participated.

Addressing the media Dr Sudha appreciated the benevolent gesture of Malka Komariah, Chairman Pallavi group of schools & DPS by declaring free education for children of Pulwama Martyrs. This painting workshop is a prelude to the Women’s day celebration scheduled on March 8.

Dr Harrsha addressing the media said two workshops on painting will be conducted one at Pallavi International school gandipet & one at Delhi Public School Nacharam. Out of the registered100 children 20 will be selected for the finals scheduled to be held on March 8at DPS Nacharam. Dr Harrsha also informed the media that he will be setting a World Record by walking on Treadmill for 1 hour and drawing the portrait of Pulwama Martyrs.
