New Delhi: Senior BJP leader and Union Parliamentary Affairs & Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu on Wednesday made it clear that he would not like to intervene in the raging war of words over conducting the EAMCET examination between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

He said the EAMCET issue should be resolved between the two States, if not it should be amicably settled with the help of Governor ESL Narasimham or the Union Home Ministry. He said what he could do was to bring the issue to the attention of Home Minister Rajnath Singh whose Ministry is the nodal agency in implementing the AP Reorganisation Act 2014.

On Tuesday, AP Education Minister G Srinivasa Rao met Venkaiah Naidu and sought his help in the matter. However, Venkaih Naidu wants to remain neutral and not be seen siding with either State though he hails from Nellore district in Andhra Pradesh.
