Hiring up by 24% reveals a survey by Naukri Jobspeak
The rate of hiring has been ramped up in the city, reveals a survey by Naukri Jobspeak. A year on year analysis revealed that hiring in the city picked up by 24% in Feb 2015 over Feb 2014. Hiring of IT and BPO professionals saw an upsurge of 32% this year. Among the key sectors, IT and Pharma registered a growth of 23% and 12% respectively with an increase in hiring of Pharma professionals by 5%,

Hiring of IT and BPO professionals saw an upsurge of 32% this year. Among the key sectors, IT and Pharma registered a growth of 23% and 12% respectively with an increase in hiring of Pharma professionals by 5%, while Construction & Engineering saw a dip of 4% over the year.
Banking emerged as an extremely strong sector registering a growth of 77% in Feb 2015. Hiring in Telecom and Pharma saw an upsurge of 14% and 12% respectively. With a 9% rise in the Job index value, hiring of ITES professionals saw the maximum increase. IT- Hardware & Telecom registered 12% more hiring this year in comparison to last year.
