Sebi is gearing up to hire IT experts to prevent cyber attacks as well as to develop its data-mining and intelligence tool.
Sebi is gearing up to hire IT experts to prevent cyber attacks as well as to develop its data-mining and intelligence tool.
The team's key role is to safeguard information from data loss and theft. Their job role will also include developing various data analytics, business intelligence tools and maintain the entire IT infrastructure.
They want the officers to perform and develop various application, database administration, create business process management tools, ERP, Portal technologies and XBRL/XML reporting.
The Team will also conduct periodical audit and internal security checks against any cyber attacks or thefts.Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning (DR-BCP) will also be created to maintain low downtime.
Sebi's ideal candidates would be engineering students with major in computer applications. The candidates could be a graduate or post-graduate with anterior experience in the relevant field. The policy shall be initiated from April onwards for the 2015-2016 financial year.
The WatchDog Intends to improve and support various technological advancements, it also wants to collaborate with the government CVC.
