Hyderabad: In the current times, a Master's degree has become mandatory rather than a choice for every student looking to make a career in the corporate world and here's why you should consider applying for this scholarship programme. TimesPro is offering India’s biggest MBA scholarships ranging from Rs 50,000 to Rs 5 lakhs to 9 deserving students across the country. Winners will be awarded the TimesPro MBA Grant to study MBA at any university of their choice.


This scholarship is being offered to students to highlight their commitment to training and educating some of the best minds. The online registration has started and will be open till May 21, 2015. Apart from a variety of courses in banking, finance and business analytics, TimesPro offers a unique distributed MBA course.


The scholarship has two phases:

1. The first phase will be from May 15 - 21, where the students will be required to take an online test and once they have cleared the same, they will move to the next phase.


2. The second phase will be held from May 28 – 31, where shortlisted students will be invited to take a proctored test to any 200 plus NSEIT centres across the country.


Commenting on the TimesPro MBA Grant, Deepak Lamba, President of TimesPro, said “Over the years, we have successfully trained a number of students who are now executives and industry professionals falling under mid to top managerial positions. The main purpose behind introducing the TimesPro MBA Grant is to attract talent, thus giving them a chance to learn from the best in the industry.


This year, we will be selecting outstanding and brilliant students to sponsor with scholarships of varying amounts while they chase their dreams and gear up for a bright future.” The eligibility criteria for applying to the TimesPro MBA Grant is that the candidate must be less than 25 years of age and must have a score of at least 50 per cent and above in 10th, 12th and graduation.
