New Delhi: Delhiites today woke up to partly cloudy sky even as minimum temperature was recorded at 25.8 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average.
According to Meteorological Department, relative humidity oscillated between 73 per cent and 95 per cent at 8:30 AM.
Safdarjung, Palam, Lodhi Road, Ayanagar and Ridge observatories recorded 9.6 mm, 28.6 mm, 6.2 mm, 23.6 mm and 18.2 mm rainfall respectively over the past 24 hours.
"Sky is expected to remain cloudy and rainfall with thundershowers may occur in some areas of the city during the day. Mercury is predicted to rise to 33 degrees Celsius," a MeT department official said.
Yesterday, maximum temperature was recorded at 33.6 degrees Celsius, while minimum had dipped to 28.5 degrees Celsius.
