Addressing a road show at Pattikonda, in the district, Jagan alleged that Naidu was getting positive press reports written, with claims of having done something good for people. He recalled that during Naidu’s regime those eligible were denied pension.
The YSRCP president charged Naidu with increasing the price of Rs.2 a kg rice to Rs.5.25 and paving the way for setting up ‘belt’ shops all villages. ‘People who recalled Naidu’s administration were now in fear’.
Jagan claimed that people were forced to sell their properties for educating their children during the TDP dispensation. ‘Now Naidu is approaching people with attempts to fool them on the eve of the ensuing elections’.
The Kadapa MP said the elections would change the fate of people. He suggested to voters to opt for only those leaders who were close to people.
Jagan stated that the State had many chief ministers, but there was none like his late father, ‘mahaneta’ the late Y S Rajasekhara Reddy . He appealed to voters to elect YSRPC candidates for the return of the YSR ‘Swarna Yugam’.
