Nellore: TDP chief N Chandrababu’s son Lokesh on Tuesday strongly criticised YSRCP president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, alleging that the State was suffering because of the irregularities committed by him. He described the Kadapa MP as ‘king of corruption’ and pledged to recover his ill-gotten wealth if the TDP was voted to power. During a whirlwind tour of Nellore district, holding road shows and meetings in Venkatagiri, Nellore Rural and City constituencies, Lokesh said that the wealth recovered from Jagan would be utilised for waiving farmers’ loans. He called upon youth and intellectuals to back the party. People showed keen interest in attending his events, this being the young leader’s maiden visit. He sought to assure the gathering that his father alone was capable of ensuring ‘Swarnandhra’ and jobs to the needy. Only Naidu could build ‘Navyandha’ in Seemandha converting it into Singapore.
