Guntur: The Union Minster Panabaka Lakshmi reiterated that she always desired for the state to remain united. But, she said, she would vote in favour of the bifurcation in parliament, if the whip is passed. She said she would submit a representation to GoM that Bhadrachalam should be included in Seemandhra. She allegedly said BJP has been taking dual stance on bifurcation issue.
On Sunday, she asked the Seemandhra people to get mentally prepared for the state bifurcation. She said she had demanded for the establishment of various industries in Seemandhra in her representation to GoM. She demanded that Hyderabad should be made union territory, in case bifurcation is inevitable. She once again reiterated that she would contest from Bapatla constituency in the next elections also.
