The most awaited event in Hyderabad’s fashion and beauty circuit – ‘Max Miss Hyderabad 2014 is all set to kick start this year’s campaign. Miss Hyderabad will set the ball rolling in search of the most stunning young women on February 1, with the preliminary auditions. The grand finale on February 19 will bring Hyderabad’s charming young women into limelight.
Srinivas Gunishetty, founder and CEO of Page3 Entertainments and Miss Hyderabad and Farha Kudari, co-founder, Miss Hyderabad, launched the poster of the pageant on Tuesday. Piyush Sharma, deputy general manager, Max; Kalyan Annam, CEO of Kalamandir; Subhadra Tatavarthy, CEO of REC (Rajah’s Entertainment Collaboration), Prema Ishq Kadhal’s lead cast Sree Mukhi and Vithika Sheru, director, Pavan Sadineni, were also present at the event.
The pageant which has launched many a face like Nikita Narayan, Rithu Varma, Rikee Chaterjee, Arti Singh, Tejaswi Madiwada, who have carved a niche for themselves in the fashion and film industry, is an ideal launch pad for young women into the world of glamour and fashion.
The nineteen day event which grooms and unearths the talent of the beauties, prepares them to face the challenges and come out with flying colours. After the prelim auditions on February 1, experts from various fields like fashion designing, health and fitness, beauty and make-over, styling, personality development, choreography, provide each participant an opportunity to express herself, explore her inner talents and fine-tune them to gain a head start in the world of fashion.
According to Srinivas Gunishetty, founder and CEO, Page3 Entertainments, an ideal ‘Miss Hyderabad’ is a young woman who is a perfect blend of poise, personality, intelligence, beauty and charisma. “Hyderabad has no dearth of talented young women. They just need a platform to launch into the dream world. Tollywood and fashion industry has recognised Miss Hyderabad as the most happening beauty pageant in the city and are more than willing to provide opportunities to the winners,” he added.
Speaking at the occasion, Piyush Sharma, deputy general manager, Max said, “Our association with ‘Max Miss Hyderabad’ reinforces our endeavour to ‘democratise fashion’ and provide a platform for discerning shoppers and aspiring consumers to showcase their style statement. The chief guest for the event, Pavan Sadineni, director of Prema Ishq Kadhal, said, “Hunt for the right talent for upcoming movies by film directors is made easy by pageants like this. Unknowingly my films had heroines who were part of Miss Hyderabad of the previous editions. I am planning to take the winner of this edition as a lead actress for my next movie.”
