Brushing time on canvas

Hands of Time’, a drawing and paintings exhibition of Karnataka-based artist Pavan, is being held at Ailamma Art gallery, Baghlingampally. The artist’s recent works trace the human interference in nature with symbolic depiction of a coexistence of natural form of plants and manmade things as part of urban surroundings of this time.

Selected works from the series ‘Self Portrait’, created in black and white in the medium of oil painting are also being showcased at the expo. A shift of interest from abstract expressionism to realism is observable in the current exhibition. The exhibition is on till June 21.
