Grandparents’ Day celebrated at DPS

Delhi Public School (DPS) celebrated Grandparents' Day at its premises on Friday. Speaking on the occasion, school dean SB Rao said that the event was celebrated to highlight the significance of elders in the Indian family system. He underlined the need to educate young generation on family values and to uphold our rich culture and heritage.

Various competitions were conducted for grandparents as part of the celebrations and prizes were given away to the winners. A fashion show and a singing competition were also organised for the parents participating in the celebrations. Later, the pre-primary students presented a variety of cultural programmes which enthralled the gathering.
