Clean up drive at Charminar
Over 50 ambassadors chosen from 300 college students volunteered to clean the areas surrounding of Charminar on Thursday. The campaign was initiated by Star Sports Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) and the Rotaract Club of India. As part of the initiative, the ambassadors will also clean up areas near the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium,
Over 50 ambassadors chosen from 300 college students volunteered to clean the areas surrounding of Charminar on Thursday. The campaign was initiated by Star Sports Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) and the Rotaract Club of India. As part of the initiative, the ambassadors will also clean up areas near the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium, which hosts the Star Sports PKL. Similar drive will be conducted at the Secunderabad Railway Station and at petrol pumps across the city where garbage bag for cars will be distributed.
Dustbins will also be distributed at schools and colleges. TVS TYRES is associate sponsor of Telugu Titans TVS TYRES will be the associate sponsor for The Telugu Titans at the ongoing Pro Kabaddi League. The brand will be supporting the team throughout all the matches, which will go on till August 23. Through this partnership, the brand aims to popularise the sport and utilise the forum to enhance its visibility across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Speaking on the association, P Vijayaraghavan, director, TVS Srichakra Ltd, said, “With the new mantra of our brand ‘Nayi Soch Nayi Pechaan’, this initiative is taken to support a traditional sport which is now being presented with a lot of freshness and indeed has tremendous prospect and possibility to become one of the most popular games.”
