Joy knew no bounds at the wee hours of Wednesday morning as the five-day Sky Fest with the much talked about hot air balloon safari began at Gachibowli Stadium at 5.00 am. About 28 people took off in the first flight of the Balloon and travelled for about 45-60 minutes landing near Tallapur.

“The Balloons travelled at 800 ft to 1200 ft. This is the maximum height they are allowed to go,” said Paul from Sky-Waltz, the company which was roped in for the festival. The passengers included Jayesh Ranjan, IT Secretary, Ruchi Ranjan, Ishika Ranjan, Dr Subrahmanyam, Dr Prananth Reddy, Suresh, Mrs. Rajitha, Dorababu (CGM of SBI).
“The balloon ride was organised in aid of Sparsh Hospice to raise funds to construct a 50 bedded hospital and provide palliative care to terminally ill patients,” informed Jagadish Ramadugu, Organising Secretary of the Festival, who flagged off the same.
