Hyderabad: Finance Minister Eatala Rajender has announced setting up a fast track court for the trial of gang rape case of a Dalit girl in Karimnagar district. Addressing a police training camp in Karimnagar on Friday, the minister said the hearing in the case would be completed in three months.

He said the State government has already written a letter to High Court requesting for setting up of a fast track court for this case. He assured that the culprits would be given stringent punishment.

The minister said the government has already suspended two policemen for dereliction of duty in this case. He assured that steps would be taken to prevent recurrence of such incidents in future. He said all the three accused in the case were adults, as per the new law.
