My Home Group, distributed over 2500 school kits to students across Tier 2 regions of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh as part of its CSR initiative, Maha Scholar.
Hyderabad: My Home Group, distributed over 2500 school kits to students across Tier 2 regions of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh as part of its CSR initiative, Maha Scholar.
School kits comprising of bags, note books, stationery and plastic boxes were distributed in three phases across 30 government schools in regions like Kurnool, Nalgonda, Kudikilla and Yelamanchalli.
Commenting on the initiative, J Meghana Rao Director - Marketing said, “Education is still a distant dream for many young children in the student’s society.
It is disheartening to see a large section of the society striving for access to basic necessities like stationery and notebooks.
To fulfill and fuel the dreams of these young children, we have launched Maha Scholars last year and I am happy to see the immense progress we have made in just one year.
As part of our social commitment, we will be further initiating more community development initiatives to benefit a larger part of the society.”
