Comprehensive kitchen ware

Actress Archana inaugurated the three-day ‘Kitchen India Expo’ at Hitex on Friday. Nagendra Prasad, COO, Hitex; Puneet Metha, Celebrity chef, Masterchef India Fame; Sanjay Jain, Agromech; Dr Menon, Mahender Pala (Care Hospitals) Shalab/Chetan, Freedom oil; Shekar Raju, Hafflee were present at the event.

The expo showcases ‘Mittie Cool’ kitchen utensils like sleek mitti water bottles, storage containers, fridge etc made of mud.

“Gone are the days of ordinary kitchens. Modern lifestyle has led to their transformation. Kitchens have been turned to hi-tech functionalities and a symbol of luxury,” said Prasad.

“Designer Kitchens have become order of the day. They are an integral and most focused area of one’s home in every sense. They are not mere places where food is cooked. It is also used for guests get together, storing gadgets and eating family meals,” he said.

Chef Puneet Mehta is curating a show at the event. “The objective of the show is to bring all concerned together on a single platform, help improve the functionality of kitchen, thereby contribute to the quality living,” he said.

Upto 62 exhibitors will showcase their products and services. This includes a plethora of national and international brands like Hafele, Godrej Interio, Samsung, Panasonic, Morphy Richards, Prestige, Black & Decker and Russell Hobbs among others. The exhibitors profile include a comprehensive list of kitchen appliances.

Live cookery completion, ‘Junior Chef’, consultancy for designing the kitchen, kids’ zone are planned at the Expo to attract and engage the visitors. The expo is on from 11am to 9pm.
