A tiger is on the prowl in the forest region near Pangidisomaram village if the tell-tale evidence is any indication. An Ox belonging to Rallabandi Srinivas of Kotapalli was killed by the tiger 10 days ago.

The officials inspected footprints of tiger near the carcass. The information was dispatched to Chennur forest ranger Anita.
People living in villages on the fringe of the forest area of Kotapalli, Pangidisomaram, Shatpalli and Bavanapalli are living in the grip of fear.
