Weeklong COPD programme
As part of ‘World COPD Day’ Glenmark launched its initiative ‘the COPD Awareness Week’ which will be conducted in association with doctors from across the country.
As part of ‘World COPD Day’ Glenmark launched its initiative ‘the COPD Awareness Week’ which will be conducted in association with doctors from across the country.
During this weeklong initiative, COPD/asthma detection camps will be conducted to intensify efforts and raise awareness about symptoms, risk factors and treatment for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) across 94 locations in India.
Over 250 doctors including chest physician will advise individuals at 250 camps held across the country. The doctors will also create awareness on the do’s and don’ts on types of lung diseases.
Around 10,000 individuals are expected to benefit from the camps. The individuals will be screened and consulted at a nominal cost. These camps will be held during the routine clinic timing.
Further, Glenmark also launched a toll free helpline – 18002666650 to provide information to patients and also assist them find physicians and doctors nearby.
