As part of a CSR programme NTPC donated 500 ‘Self Care Kits’ to people affected by leprosy in Moula Ali on Wednesday.

In this regard, deputy GM of NTPC A Rajender along with assistant manager CSR of the orgnasition, Lincoln and participants from LEPRA Society that included Manager (Fundraising) Robin Micheal and project officer Swamy Reddy were present.

Speaking after the event, Michael mentioned that every five minutes a new case of leprosy is detected and such support helps in reducing the burden.

“In this regard to create awareness in the community a walk to beat leprosy is scheduled on January People’s Plaza on January 29,” he said.
