​Hanamkonda: Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) Warangal chapter has decided to establish a sub-committee to look after the generic medical shops being run by it different mandals in the district.
The decision was taken at the society’s managing committee meeting held in Hanamkonda on Friday. It was also planned to set up three more generic medical shops in the district in addition to the existing seven shops.
During the meeting chaired by the IRCS Chairman Dr T Ravinder Rao, a resolution was passed in that connection. It was also resolved to increase the collection of different groups of blood as there would be shortage of blood during summer season.
The society members should make collective efforts in that direction, the chairman suggested. Similarly the managing committee members have also passed a resolution to set up a sub-committee to look into the issue of enhancement of honorarium being given to the employees.
All the members of managing committee of the society have unanimously decided to improve the quality of the services being offered by the IRCS for the benefit of the common public.
The IRCS vice-chairman Dr K Sudhakar Reddy, treasurer M Nagaiah, managing committee members P Srinivas Rao, G Purushotham, EV Srinivasa Rao, P V Narayana Goud, B Hariprasad and others were present.
