Satya Sai Seva Samithi provides food to the needy

Kodad: Following Satya Sai Baba’s spiritual saying ‘Service to man is service to God’, Sri Satya Sai Seva Samithi of Suryapet district started Sri Satya Sai Annapurneshwari Nitya Narayana Seva at the government hospitals in Suryapet and Kodad towns.

As part of the programme, the Samithi members will prepare food and distribute it to the attendants of patients, who poor and hail from surrounding villages. In Suryapet government hospital, the members are supplying breakfast and lunch to 70 people daily.

In Kodad, the service was started from April 13. Every day the members will distribute 30 food packets to the needy and the poor.

Speaking to The Hans India, the Samithi district president M Srinivas said that they do not collect any donations from anybody and the members will contribute the required money for the implementation of the Nitya Narayana seva programme.

He further informed that in the name of Narayana Seva food will be served to beggars at Satya Sai Sadan in Kodad town on every Thursday and protective sunglasses will be provided to cataract patients at Vijaya Hospital in Kodad on every Tuesday.

Srinivas said that they do all service programmes to inspire others and to get the divine grace of Satya Sai Baba. They try to follow and practice Satya Sai’s words ‘love all and serve all’, he added.
