Mandamarri: Marking the beginning of Ramzan month, Circle Inspector Ramchander Rao had distributed rice bags weighing 25 kgs each to 22 poor Muslim families at the police station in Mandamarri on Monday.
He said that this month is auspicious for Muslims and our country is known for religious harmony. The CI asked them to celebrate the festival with utmost respect and joy.
The families expressed happiness on the occasion. SI Venugopal Rao and other police staff were present on the occasion.
