Birthday party for trees!
The Transco staff of Sultanabad sub-station on Monday celebrated the second birthday of plants, which they had planted two years ago on their premises.
Sultanabad: The Transco staff of Sultanabad sub-station on Monday celebrated the second birthday of plants, which they had planted two years ago on their premises.
Transco AE Venkata Narayana, who took the initiative to organise birthday celebrations, said that he was happy to celebrate the second birthday of the plants, which he had planted two years ago as part of Haritha Haram programme.
He exhorted people to go for massive plantation of trees to make Telangana clean and green. “Everyone should plant at least ten saplings and raise them like children” Venkata Narayana invited Transco higher officials, police officials and people’s representatives and cut a cake on the occasion.
As part of the celebrations, the officials planted more saplings on the premises.
