Khazipur High School Headmaster Srinivas had organised an awareness programme for parents in the school premises at Gani Road in Jagtial on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Samiuddin explained to the parents about the importance of the vaccine and advised them to participate in the immunisation programme to get children administered the vaccine.

The government is organising the immunisation programme from August 17 across the State, especially in high risk and rural areas including towns and cities.

He urged the parents to cooperate in making the programme a grand success by bringing their children to schools without hesitation.

Deputy District Medical and Health Officer Dr Jayapal Reddy, Tuberculosis Project Officer Dr Srinivas, Khazi Shoiab Ul Haq, Jagtial town Minorities Committee president Md Riazuiddin, Khaleeluddin and Safiuddin were present along with others.
