MLA Puvvada Ajay Kumar attended as chief guest to the valedictory ceremony at Bhaktaramadasu Kalakshetram here in Khammam on Sunday. Speaking on the occasion, the MLA told the students not to lose their heart if they fail in any competition and suggested them to try hard for the next with improvised preparations and planning.
“The youth must follow the footsteps of Dr A P J Abdul Kalam for building a healthy and strong nation,” he suggested.
The legislator further appreciated the organiser of Vibrants of Kalam Trust for conducting such an innovative programme which boosts the knowledge of students, and said it was hard to maintain nearly 1,000 students from various educational institutions along with providing of free boarding and meals.
Special invitee Padma Sri awardee Daripalli Ramaiah handed over the prize money cheques worth Rs 2 lakh to students who won various competitions.
Subject experts Arun, Kiran, Sathya Murthy, Dr A Vijay Bhaskar, Nageshwar Rao and Kishore gave certain tips on easy learning of various subjects to the students.
The video about the life history of Abdul Kalam which was screened on the occasion inspired many students. Various cultural programmes were conducted on the day.
President of Telangana Movie and TV Artists Union Shiva Shankar, S K Sadiq Pasha, Prof Vijay Kalam, HFCS Telangana Director Venkat, Regional Manager Said Rao, Admission Officer Nageshwar Rao, Dr Annem Srinivasa Rao, Bhargavi and Ravi Teja were present along with others.
