Nintendo’s announcement of pokemon now having a mega-evolution has been well received by the fans of the game. Recently, the company confirmed that four new pokemon from Pokemon X&Y would be eligible for the mega-evolution.

Already Mewtwo, Blaziken and Lucario had been revealed as the mega-evolve eligible pokemon, but a new video posted by the company shows Ampharos, Absol and Mawile evolving into their mega forms.

At the Pokemon World Championships, Game Freak director Junichi Masuda made an announcement that even Kangaskhan would have its own mega-evolution. It allowed the pokemon to release its child from its pouch and in doing so would unlock the ‘Parental Bond’ ability allowing the player to make two attacks in one turn.

Pokemon X & Y will be available worldwide on October 12, exclusively on Nintendo 3DS.
