Akritti organised a fashion show to support girl child education and donated the amount collected to a school.

With the mission to support the cause of ‘Educate the Girl Child’, Akritti, one of the popular women organisations held a two day fashion show titled Akritti Elite at Taj Krishna, Banjara hills.
The event was graced by many socialites like Laila Kajani, Saakshi Saraaf, Geetika, Esha Hindocha and Miss Hyderabad 2013 Panchami Rao etc who walked the ramp for the cause.The show was a perfect platform of social cause and creativity was showcased by various designers. The inaugural function started with the fashion show where models showcased latest designs from different designers like Pankaj Palriwala, Niharika, Alok & Shreya etc.
“Such exhibition events across the country with an objective of promoting designers and also benefitting society is much needed. Also it serves as a good platform for creative and fashionable women to show off their skills,’’ said Akritti organiser, Sashi Nahata. The idea was to take the fashion shows to the common man. The organisation donated Rs 51000 to Shri Navajeevan Kanya Vidyalaya. The girls from the school were brought onto the stage to spread the message that every girl had the right to be educated.
